Lungo il fiume

           

Questo disegno nasce in Honduras, dove mi trovo seduta lungo il fiume. L'acqua scorre lenta e fresca, incastonata tra gli alberi lussureggianti che si riflettono sulla superficie limpida. Il calore del sole filtra tra le foglie, creando giochi di luce e ombra. Nel silenzio, rotto solo dal canto di qualche uccello tropicale, prendo il mio taccuino e la penna ink, iniziando a schizzare quel paesaggio così vivo davanti a me. Mi sento parte di questo luogo, immersa nella natura che pulsa intorno, mentre ogni tratto sul foglio cattura un istante di pace e bellezza.

 This drawing was born in Honduras, where I am sitting by the river. The water flows slow and cool, nestled among lush trees reflected on the clear surface. The warmth of the sun filters through the leaves, creating plays of light and shadow. In the silence, broken only by the song of a few tropical birds, I take my notebook and ink pen, beginning to sketch the vibrant landscape before me. I feel part of this place, immersed in the nature that pulses around, as each stroke on the paper captures a moment of peace and beauty.

Questo è un luogo unico con il nome  Coatepeque  che significa  Collina di serpenti  in lingua nahuatl.  Le due piccole penisole che si congiungono sono chiamate  occhiali, e l'Isla del Cerro, al centro del lago, era il luogo  dove gli indigeni  Pipiles avevano un tempio  con un monolito rappresentante la dea Itzqueye. Pipiles era un popolo indigeno che abitava  la parte occidentale e centrale di El Salvador e ll loro linguaggio era nahuatl e Pipil.   Gli antenati dei Pipiles emigrarono dal Messico e si stabilirono in quella che oggi è El Salvador nel 900 d.C.

El Salvador Central America Reflections on Lake Coatepeque

This is a unique place named Coatepeque, which means "Hill of snakes" in the Nahuatl language. The two small peninsulas that connect are called "glasses," and Isla del Cerro, in the center of the lake, was the place where the indigenous Pipiles had a temple with a monolith representing the goddess Itzqueye. The Pipiles were an indigenous people who lived in the western and central parts of El Salvador, and their language was Nahuatl and Pipil. The ancestors of the Pipiles emigrated from Mexico and settled in what is now El Salvador in 900 AD. 

 

Tramonto al Lago di Cautepec

 

 Magico tramonto sul  lago immerso nella natura . Un tempo era un luogo sacro per gli indigeni  e lo si percepisce tuttora al tramonto quando i riflessi sull'acqua si fanno più accesi e i pescatori tornano a riva dopo la pesca  e le acque del lago si increspano di un leggero vento serale. 

 

 Magical sunset on the lake surrounded by nature. Once a sacred place for the indigenous people, it is still felt at sunset when the reflections on the water become more vivid and the fishermen return to shore after fishing, while the lake's waters ripple with a gentle evening breeze.
